Section 133
<br> to keep records of arms and ammunition transactions
A person who deals in firearms or jewelry after obtaining a license must keep a separate record of the firearms and jewelry that he deals with.
(2) In addition to other things, the following things should be disclosed in the records kept according to sub-section (1):-
(a) the type, description and quantity of arms purchased or sold, transported, stored, exported or imported by him,
(b) If the arms are sold to someone, the name, surname, nationality, date and place of issuance of citizenship or passport number of the person who purchased it.
(3) A person dealing in firearms or ammunition shall refrain from showing the records under sub-section (2) when requested by the officer who controls or administers the firearms and ammunition, the officer investigating the case or the court.
(4) Anyone other than a person who has received a license and is engaged in the commercial business of arms or jewelry, should take the approval of the relevant district administration office.
(5) A person who commits or causes an act contrary to sub-section (1), (3) or (4) shall be imprisoned for up to two years and fined up to twenty thousand rupees.
